Children and Family Ministries

Our children’s presence here exemplifies our commitment to nurture and help children to develop an ever growing relationship with God. The Children & Family Ministries provide children with a loving, nurturing environment in which they learn about God, His love for them, and how to love and serve others. It is our desire to R E L A Y to our children the love of Christ and to build on the foundation of His Word.
At Dayspring Church, we have something for children of all ages! Kids from birth-5th grade are given age-appropriate activities and experiences that teach them the moral values of Christianity as well as how to love one another as Christ has loved us. Whatever KidZone your child belongs to we hope Sunday mornings are the best part of their week!
Dedication & Baptism
Child Dedication Services are held two times a year. The Sunday before Thanksgiving and Mother’s Day. Participants are asked to attend a Child Dedication class prior to the service.
Baptism Services for children in 4th & 5th grades are held once a month. A Baptism class is offered for children and their parents prior to the service.
Vacation Bible School
During summer vacation months, our children enjoy special programs. The week long program provides fun, memorable Bible-learning activities, and is an exciting way for the kids to learn more about Jesus’ love and how to serve Him.

A note about safety:
For safety’s sake, all of our CFM workers are required to go through a security class and fill out background information. They are given identification tags that will allow you to recognize that this person has been checked out and is safe to be with your children.

*The last Sunday of every month the children join us in the sanctuary to sit with their parents following discipleship hour for family Sunday
Itty-Bitty KidZone provides loving care and guided conversation about the love of Jesus for infants and toddlers up to 24 months. Location:1st floor, Nursery
Little KidZone is for children 2 to 3 years old. Our leaders introduce simple Bible truths in a caring way as children begin to develop their Christian life. Location: 9:30-10:30 1st floor, Critters Room
10:30-12:15 1st floor, Nursery
KidZone Clubhouse is dedicated to educating children ages 4-6 about the Bible and encouraging them to establish a long lasting relationship with the Lord. Small group time fosters friendships with others their age. Children in this age group also begin to understand the importance of knowing, serving and loving Jesus.
Location: 9:30-10:30 and 10:40 –12:15 2nd floor, Clubhouse (Rms. 214, 215)
KidZone is for children in 1st-5th grade. This gift-based ministry encompasses both small group time and large group worship. KZ will involve children actively in an effort to help him or her develop their gifts as they grow in Christ.
